The full-cost worksheet: medicine is only one line
Compare the amount due now, the ordinary renewal, and the care or testing costs outside a medication headline.

Two programs advertising the same monthly price can leave you with different bills. One might include medicine and care; another might charge a membership before the pharmacy has even quoted the prescription. A third might collect several months in advance.
Make a small worksheet before choosing. Write down the first transaction, the later transactions, and anything billed by a different organization. Keep the product and supply period consistent so a lower number does not hide a different purchase.
Separate the items
Give care membership, visits, medicine, supplies, delivery, and testing their own lines. Use a question mark where the price is unknown rather than silently treating it as zero. Then ask which items recur. An initial clinical review might be one-time while a membership continues even without another shipment. Our CoreAge Rx review and Hers review illustrate different billing questions without making the arrangements interchangeable.
Separate the time periods
Write the amount taken today beside the duration it buys. If a provider quotes a monthly equivalent but collects a quarter in advance, the quarterly total is the immediate commitment. A four-week cycle creates thirteen periods across 52 weeks; a calendar-month cycle creates twelve across a calendar year. Those are budgeting calculations, not recommendations about prescription duration or dose.
Price the end of the promotion
Ask for the first ordinary refill and the amount after any membership discount ends. Check whether starter eligibility excludes someone transferring established care. Do not select a dose to fit a price tier: the clinician determines treatment. If a prescription changes, request a revised quote instead of assuming the initial promotion follows it.
Include the cost of leaving
The remaining term matters when a purchase is prepaid or financed. Obtain the refund and cancellation rules before comparing a long agreement with month-to-month care. Stopping treatment does not automatically erase a credit balance or return unused program fees. Read the cancellation guide before using a long-term average as the deciding factor.
