Bring an accurate medication list
Include prescriptions, nonprescription products, and supplements, along with existing clinicians and relevant medical history. The professional needs to assess interactions, precautions, and whether a treatment fits your circumstances. Do not stop another prescription to qualify for a program or rely on an online comparison to resolve a potential interaction.
Choose a usable way to communicate
Ask whether medical questions are answered by text, secure messages, telephone, or video. Clarify how to reach the actual clinical team and what happens outside ordinary hours.
