People considering Mochi often have a prescription already, an insurance question, or a need to arrange follow-up around a busy schedule. Those situations call for more than a general statement that online care is available. The questions below focus on the published steps.

This patient guide uses Mochi’s official FAQ, eligibility explanation, and dated pricing article, checked September 23. Medical approval, membership enrollment, and insurance coverage remain different decisions. We have not tested a private account or measured how quickly an individual appointment or insurer request is handled.

What BMI and health criteria apply to Mochi Health?

Mochi’s eligibility article uses BMI over 30, or over 27 with a weight-related condition, and also discusses prior medication and post-bariatric weight regain. Its FAQ separates joining support from qualifying for medicine. General guidance uses inclusive thresholds, so a boundary BMI or continuing-treatment case should be discussed with the clinician instead of decided from the article alone.

Can I pause Mochi Health without cancelling?

A Mochi pause that automatically suspends every charge was not verified in the reviewed FAQ. Membership and prescribed medication are distinct purchases. Ask support which one can be delayed or stopped, whether unused time is retained, and when charges resume. Also discuss any treatment interruption with the clinician; holding an order does not provide restart instructions.

Does Mochi Health provide maintenance treatment after reaching a goal?

Mochi’s program description includes a later stage in which labs are rechecked and maintenance next steps are discussed. That establishes a planned conversation, not a standard maintenance dose or price for everyone. Ask the clinician what monitoring and treatment are recommended for you, and ask billing which membership and medication expenses remain.

Can I switch to Mochi Health while continuing an existing prescription?

Mochi says documented prior medication can allow continuation at the previous dose. The actual decision still belongs to the receiving clinician after review. Bring the label, prescription records, last treatment date, and any recent problems, and ask how those records are submitted. Do not carry over syringe units when a new prescription has a different concentration.

Can someone under 18 join Mochi Health?

Mochi’s FAQ confirms a separate Pediatrics program for people under 18 and points families to an eligibility form. It does not establish that every minor qualifies for a prescription. Discuss age, growth, medical history, the specific medicine, and follow-up with that team rather than using the adult program’s BMI language as a child’s eligibility test.

Can I change my Mochi Health clinician when appointments are unavailable?

Mochi says a patient can move to a different provider when the current clinician has insufficient follow-up availability. The described routes are the patient portal or a request to the team. Confirm an actual appointment and how pending prescription tasks will be handled; the option to switch does not itself guarantee immediate access or identical treatment.

Does Mochi Health help with prior authorization and medical-necessity paperwork?

Mochi’s FAQ describes staff assistance with prior-authorization requests and medical-necessity letters. The insurer’s decision still depends on the plan and proposed medicine. Give the team accurate policy details and ask how to track submission, additional questions, and any denial. Administrative help should not be presented as a guarantee of coverage or a fixed insurer turnaround.

What are Mochi Health customer support hours, including weekends?

Mochi advertises customer assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at (619) 648-1247. Provider messaging is a separate part of the service. For an appointment or billing problem, begin with support; for a prescription concern, ask the treating team. The public hours do not establish an instant response from a clinician.

Source notes2

Does the Mochi Health price change at a higher prescribed dose?

Mochi no longer presents every compounded dose at one price in its August 2026 article. Monthly vials are listed at $60–$99 for semaglutide and $90–$199 for tirzepatide, with membership additional. Budget using the prescribed dose and plan, and let clinical needs determine medication changes rather than selecting a dose from the price table.

How does Mochi Health pricing change after the first membership month?

Mochi’s advertised first-month membership is $39, compared with the FAQ’s standard $79 monthly membership. With unchanged lowest-dose medication pricing, that means $99 initially and $139 afterward for semaglutide, or $129 initially and $169 afterward for tirzepatide. Those are calculated examples for that monthly arrangement; another term, dose, or offer changes the bill.

Send a request that can be answered clearly

For a question about Mochi Health, include the order reference, exact plan, and the action you want confirmed. For example, ask which charge stops, which shipment changes, or which clinical task remains. Request an effective date and a written response that you can keep with the accepted agreement.

Billing staff, the treating professional, and the dispensing pharmacy may each answer a different part of the question. If the public documents leave a gap, ask the responsible team directly. Do not assume an account change supplies medical instructions, and keep sensitive information within the service’s official secure channels.
